Good geo-political article

This is pretty interesting

Please read!

I'm gonna send this to everyone I know and carry a copy with me.

From a founding father

"The government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like the state government, whose powers are more general. Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government - James Madison

Please explain Obama to me

Wow! Really? Someone explain this to me please. I haven't heard the man say anything concrete, just a lot of hope, and you know, hope don't float.

Yes, I am one of those people that do not buy into the global warming, er climate change, lie.  No I am not anti environment in fact I do a lot of camping, backpacking, canoeing, and kayaking and am very in tune with the environment.

My problem with the global warming folks is that they are using scare tactics to get people to react but what will happen when all of these terrible things do not happen?  No rise in sea levels, no increase in temps, no increase in severe weather? People will be forever skeptical of environmental issues and it will be harder to get people to act appropriately.  There are real issues that we face with the environment that need to be addressed outside of global warming.

I worked for Greenpeace one summer in Orlando (again proof that I am concerned about the environment)
and was very disappointed in what I saw and apparently I am not the only one: Why I left Greenpeace.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Wow! Can we get some more government please?  What a nanny state.
So much for liberty

Then: "The war against illegal plunder has been fought since the beginning of the world. But how is... legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime. Then abolish this law without delay ... If such a law is not abolished immediately it will spread, multiply and develop into a system." - Frederic Bastiat

Now: "The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more." - Michelle Obama

The futility of labels

Liberal Man meets Conservative Man
Conservative Man wears his myth on his skin
Liberal Man has to explain his and keeps his shirt all buttoned up
Conservative Man greets Liberal Man with a well-rehearsed cold stare
Liberal Man replies by issuing forth horseshit
Conservative Man retaliates by taking the concrete reality of the
situation and lodging it,like a wedge, right between both sides of
Liberal Man's brain
Liberal Man is caught off gaurd by this apparent non-abstraction
There is one full minute of confusion
Liberal Man becomes Conservative Man
Conservative Man becomes Liberal Man
War is declared
Liberal Man cheats by calling in reinforcements
Conservative Man is set upon by a mob and murdered
Said mob then turns on Liberal Man and he dies a broken man
